SEACAM Housing for Leica SL2 / SL2-S

The first Leica underwater housing from SEACAM. With our newest addition, you can use your Leica Sl2 or SL2-S camera safely and ergonomically under water and take spectacular pictures and videos in Leica quality. The housing is suitable for both cameras.

Lenses

We recommend using the Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 1:3,5-4,5/16–35 ASPH with our SD Superdome Port and a PVL80 extension. More info about ports can be found here.

Knobs and control levers

Power switch, shutter release for camera and video, front- and thumb dial, manual focus, zoom, lens release button, FN front (free), FN-back up (Monitor-viewfinder switch), FN-up / Joystick middle (ISO/AF-ON)

Push buttons

Joystick, OK-button, PLAY-button, FN-button(free), MENU-button, FN-up (still/video).
Note: The (functions) of the FN keys in brackets refers to programming that we recommend.

Clear LCD monitor window and inclined, glare-free upper display window.
2 flash sockets S6 or N5, 2 flash arm T-pieces 25mm, tripod thread 3/8 ″, M8 thread on the housing top, 2 removable handles and optical-acoustic leak detector.

HDMI socket and vacuum test optional

Spare O-ring set, grease and maintenance oil, allen key set and wrist strap in neoprene bag, protective caps and manual.

Viewfinders

In order to see what you are shooting, SEACAM silver housings are available with different viewfinders. Even looking through the diving mask, special optics display a clear viewfinder image up to three times the normal size and makes image composition significantly easier for you.

SEACAM viewfinders can all be removed very quickly for transport and can be exchanged without the need of tools.

Ports

A variety of lenses is indispensable for ambitious photography. The gauge and the interface for perfect images is the front glass. The SEACAM front port system has been valued as benchmark for uncompromised image display quality for years.

The first class system is extremely diverse. Precise flat ports and perfectly adapted dome ports for wide angle lenses retain their brilliance under water just like the super wide angle and fisheye lenses.
