This compact and lightweight package is great for travel and contains everything you need to take the Olympus TG-6 camera diving to capture the small world around you. It includes the amazing Weefine Ring Light 3000 Light/Strobe with "burst" mode. It makes a great second macro camera that's small, and easy-to-carry!
Olympus TG-6 Digital "Tough" Camera
The Olympus TG-6 is rated to 50' without a housing! Great new HD LCD screen allows for optimal viewing and playback and three underwater specfic white balance modes (shallow, mid-range & deep) improves red & blue tones of images. The new flagship of Olympus’ ultra-rugged TOUGH range is ideal for anyone with a passion for outdoor sports and adventure and high-quality photographs. Its super-bright, large-aperture lens makes first-class shots possible even in poor light. The 1:2.0-4.9 wide, high-speed 25-100mm* 4x optical zoom with new 2x digital teleconverter unit feeds the same TruePic VIII image processor found in Olympus’ high-end OM-D E-M1 MKII interchangeable lens camera.
Use Pro Capture Mode to nail perfect shots that require split second timing. It buffers a running series of high-resolution images, then captures a precise moment plus the previous 5 frames with a single button press.
Also featuring four-mode Super Macro system gives nature enthusiasts the potential to capture startling close-ups in a detail and quality that makes sharing a must. Uploading is instant and easy via WiFi and a smartphone. The TOUGH TG-6 caters to its most creative owners with specialist converter lenses and macro accessories. For the most adventurous, it comes in a virtually indestructible, trademark TOUGH body. The TOUGH TG-6 is available in black or red.
Kraken Weefine 3000 Lumen Ring Light/Strobe for Underwater Macro Photography
The Weefine Ring Light gives you 1800 lumens (continuously) of either white, Red or Blue (UV) light with 4 different power levels (100%, 75%, 50% and 25%). It also has 3000 lumen Strobe mode for White, Red and Blue light!
Imagine shooting video of you favorite macro critter, then switching to take sharp still shots - all with the same compact unit, not much larger than the housing!
There are two buttons for easy operation. A lighted bezel shows the remaining battery charge. The left button controls the mode and the right button the power. You can easily switch from one color, or power to the other. Switching from continuous to strobe operation takes just a brief hold down of the right button and then you can switch colors in that mode as well. There is also a Signal (flashing) mode for safety and a Sleep mode to save battery strength.
The Kraken 3000 Ring Light swivels on it's mount for easy positioning and can be attached or detached with the included wrench.
You can evenly light very small subjects at very close distances. It does NOT operate in TTL, but it's very easy to achieve accurate exposures, as the light output and distance don't change so manual or program modes work well.
The continuous light burn time is around 45 mins at the highest power level. The strobe mode lasts for up to 12 hours. The power comes from one 26650 battery, with included charger.
We've included a M52 to F67mm port adapter and special Kraken sync cord to fit the Olympus Tough underwater housing. A second strobe, such as the Sea & Sea YS-03 can be added to the sync cord mount on the housing.
