Optical Ocean Kraken/Weefine Ring Light / Strobe 3000 Macro System

This compact and lightweight package fits any compact camera, and is great for travel. It contains everything you need to take diving to capture the small world around you. It includes the amazing Weefine Ring Light 3000 Light/Strobe from Kraken Sports that has a bright "burst" mode of 3000 lumins. It makes a great second macro camera that's small and easy-to-carry!

Kraken Weefine 3000 Lumen Ring Light/Strobe for Underwater Macro Photography

The Weefine Ring Light gives you 1800 lumens (continuously) of either white, Red or Blue (UV) light with 4 different power levels (100%, 75%, 50% and 25%). It also has 3000 lumen Strobe mode for White, Red and Blue light!

Imagine shooting video of you favorite macro critter, then switching to take sharp still shots - all with the same compact unit, not much larger than the housing!

There are two buttons for easy operation. A lighted bezel shows the remaining battery charge. The left button controls the mode and the right button the power. You can easily switch from one color, or power to the other. Switching from continuous to strobe operation takes just a brief hold down of the right button and then you can switch colors in that mode as well. There is also a Signal (flashing) mode for safety and a Sleep mode to save battery strength.

The Kraken 3000 Ring Light swivels on it's mount for easy positioning and can be attached or detached with the included wrench.

You can evenly light very small subjects at very close distances. It does NOT operate in TTL, but it's very easy to achieve accurate exposures, as the light output and distance don't change so manual or program modes work well.

The continuous light burn time is around 45 mins at the highest power level. The strobe mode lasts for up to 12 hours. The power comes from one 26650 battery, with included charger.

We've included a M52 to F67mm port adapter and special Kraken sync cord to fit the Olympus Tough underwater housing. A second strobe, such as the Sea & Sea YS-03 can be added to the sync cord mount on the housing

Included:

  • WeeFine Ring Light/Strobe 3000
  • M52 to F67 Port Adapter
  • Kraken sync cord to fit PT-058/59

This little light goes a looooong way when you need it! I use it on my Olympus TG4 PT056 case and not only has a 1000 potent lumen at night, but it does the perfect job on pictures as well and video! I love this little light! Worth every dollar! During my last dive in Cozumel I dropped it by error and lost and was sooo happy to be able to buy it again. Got my new light set to go. 100% recommended.
As a novice diver and photographer I needed a system that was simple and compact. Jack recommended the TG-3 with this housing. We just got back from a live aboard in Kona and my pictures are great! I'm looking forward to getting even better shots next year when we go to Raja Ampat. I just ordered the red filter that goes with the housing. Jack, Adam and Margo rock! Thanks guys!
Hello Jack. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!

I just got back from my dive trip to the Bahamas and the OLY TG-3 and PT-056 package you recommended and I purchased provided some fabulous photos and video.

Thank you so much for pointing me in this direction.
May I suggest you contact Jack at Optical Ocean Sales. I live in Colorado, but I still bought through him based on a recommendation from a fellow diver who lives in Virginia. Jack was extremely knowledgeable about all the various underwater photographic equipment on the market, and helpful in figuring out what would be right for me, plus he has competitive pricing.
