The Nauticam NA-RX100 MKV Housing Pro Set for the Sony RX-100V camera is a new standard for compact camera underwater housing design and value. The new Nauticam RX100 Pro Set is a complete package and ready to dive, just add your camera and lighting. It comes assembled with the Flexitray system and brackets, ball mounts, external trigger, vacuum valve and even comes in a great carrying case - housing options valued at $500!

The features you'd expect are certainly present, like ergonomic design, clearly labelled controls, sculpted shutter release and more. A fiber optic connection block for strobes is standard, as is the built-in vacuum check and leak detection system. Two accessory bulkhead ports support HDMI cables for an external monitor and the vacuum valve. The NA-RX1000I MKV is milled from a block of solid aluminum, then hard anodized. The result is a rugged and reliable piece of gear that will stand up to saltwater and the daily rigors of diving. Since the housing accesses all of the camera controls including the front control ring, the user can take advantage of the enhanced programmability in the RX100 MKV.

Sony RX-100V Camera (not included)

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 Mark V is the latest addition to Sony's popular lineup of 1" enthusiast compacts. New to the Mark V model are on-sensor phase detection AF, and a burst rate of 24 fps with full-time focusing. The AF system adds 315 AF points that cover 65% of the frame. 4K video is oversampled without pixel binning and saved using the XAVC S codec.

The RX100 V offers the same famous 20.1MP 1"-type stacked CMOS sensor, 24-70mm F1.8-2.8 Zeiss lens, pop-up EVF and built-in Wi-Fimto transfer your photos without removing the camera from the housing.

Expand Your System

This complete package can also be expanded with the addition of the Nauticam Water contact Lenses such as the Nauticam WWL-1 wide angle lens and the CMC-1 and CMC-2 macro lens systems. You'll be able to shoot the largest and smallest subjects.

Flexitray System Included

The ergonomic experience has been tailored for a photographer's right hand on the side of the housing, placing key controls literally at the users finger tips. Some users, especially those wearing cold water gloves, prefer shooting from handles such as the Nauticam Flexitray. To better support this style of shooting, a set of stainless steel handle brackets and new mechanical shutter release trigger extension is included with every housing.

Vacuum Check System

The vacuum monitoring system including the M14 valve provides early warning for any problem with watertight integrity - which means peace of mind when shooting underwater. Simply use the included hand pump to pump a small amount of air out and the light turns green. If any air seems in through a bad oring, even a minute amount - the light turns yellow and then red when all vacuum is lost. Green means go!

Video

The standard NA-RX100IV housing supports HDMI out, via an optional HDMI bulkhead connected to the M16 accessory hole in the front of the housing. This means that the underwater videographer can use the excellent SmallHD  502 Monitors (in the NA-502S housing, p/n 17907). These monitors all provide a large, high quality display for judging focus and exposure, and the recording options available in the Atomos products unlock low compression recording formats for professionals.
