Optical Ocean I-DAS Tray & Sea & Sea YS-D1 Strobe Lighting Package

The Sea & Sea YS-D1 is setting new standards for power in a compact strobe. This lighting package is complete and can accomidate almost any housing from point and shoots to micro 4/3rds.

The YS-D1 is the most versatile underwater strobe available today.  The DS-TTL exposure compensation function enables subtle lighting control by adjusting the Light Level dial in DS-TTL mode. Powered by four AA batteries, the YS-D1 offers a maximum light output of Guide Number 32.

Two accessory diffusers (included)
In macro photography when a wide beam is not necessary, no diffuser should be attached. For an even strong circular 100x100 light output is desired, mount the Diffuser 100. When a wide-angle lens is used, the diffuser 120 should be attached. Three beam angles can be selected in accordance with the photographer’s requirements.

EV Compensation Control Function
The YS-D1 is the world’s first slave TTL strobe equipped with an exposure compensation (EV) control function
By controlling the actual flash light level, the strobe realizes accurate exposure compensation with EV value.

Fantasea NanoFocus Light
A small Nanofocuys focsing light will help light your subject so that both you and your camera can catch the framing and focus. Options are available for more powerful lights.

I-DAS TRL Flat Tray and Arms
includes handles and arms for strobes. Compact and sturdy, made from black anodized aluminum. Handles adjust in width for large or small hands, housings, gloves, etc. Will accommodate most point and shoot housings from major manufacturers such as 10Bar, Nauticam, Canon, Olympus, Fuji, Panasonic, Fantasea and many others. The TRL Flat Tray is the only tray we recommend for Ikelite UltraCompact and 10Bar housings, please select extra mounting hardware option.
