Optical Ocean Nauticam D800 Wide Angle System
Optical Ocean’s package for those who like to Go Big! Includes the Nauticam NA-D800 Housing, 8” inch dome port, two Sea&Sea YS-D1 strobes and the powerful Light & Motion Sola 800 focus/video light.
The Nauticam NA-D800 houses Nikon’s latest full frame offering. The NA-D800 is packed with features: access to all major camera functions, configured for seamless video shooting and so much more. Controls are ergonomic and the new 4 way controller allows movement in any direction, even diagonally. Locking bayonet mount and leak detector.
This system includes the Nauticam 8” dome port, one of the most versatile in their line-up. This will accomodate most wide lenses like the Sigma 15mm FE or Nikon 16mm FE without any additional gear. Other zoom lenses will require gears and possibly extensions. Consult our Port Locatior for more informaiton.
The Sea & Sea YS-D1 represents the best in modern strobe technology. With a Guide Number of the 32 it is one of the most powerful strobes available while being half the size and weight of its competitors. In addition it’s DS-TTL II system makes it compatible with many cameras on the shelves today.
Light & Motion Sola 800 is small, powerful and easy to use. It's half the size of the competition with a built-in Li-ion battery and external charging. Its clean flood beam doubles as a video light and the red light allows you to sneak up on the sea life. The Sola 800 has 3 power settings, accessed by the slide switch and can run for 80 mins at 500 lumen, with a 150 min full charge time. You can charge it to 80% full in 80 minutes.
