New, expandable and modular, the Optical Ocean Sales Single Modular Remora Lighting Set is the answer for beginning underwater photographers that want a great quality external strobe system that they can add on to later. Will fit any point and shoot camera housing including Ikelite, Olympus, Canon, Fuji and Fantasea.

Made from black anodized aluminum, it features the strong OOTB-01 base mount tray along with a HB-01 rubber grip handle and fully adjustable ball and joint arm system (OOARM-01). This includes a YS mount for any Sea and Sea or Fantasea Strobe. Ball and joint arm systems are much stronger, adjustable and will stay in one position better, than flex arms.

The new Fantasea Remora Flash features four different pre-flash settings, to cover the needs of all compact digital cameras in the market, including Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Fuji, Kodak, Panasonic and more. It features a guide number of 20, and therefore is compatible for both macro and wide angle shots. The power output can be manually adjusted 10-100% to provide the most accurate amount of light in all conditions and a short recycle time ensures quick responsiveness even when using the maximum power output. The Fantasea Remora Flash also features a built-in Y-S Mount for attaching a Nanofocus light on top of the flash, sparing the need for an additional arm. See my extensive review of this strobe along with photos: Test Dive: Fuji F200EXR & Fantasea Remora Strobes.

It can be expanded later into a dual mount tray with the OOET-02 extension block and additional hand grips and B&J components.

 Among the features and specifications of the Fantasea Remora Flash:

 This is basically the same flash tube as in the UltraMax, output is about the same. It has a better diffuser and more adjustable output. Better recycle time. Mount for focus light is handy, but doesn't necessarily light the subject area, as many times strobe is pointed away.
