Expandable and modular, the Optical Ocean Sales Modular YS27DX Lighting Set is the answer for beginning underwater photographers that want a great quality tray and arm system. Will fit any point and shoot camera housing including Ikelite, Olympus, Canon, Fuji, Fantasea or others that use a single tripod style mount screw.

Made from black anodized aluminum, the Modular Tray features the strong OOTB-01 base mount tray with the OOET-02 extension, along with 2 HB-01 handles and fully adjustable ball and joint arm system (OOARM-01). This includes 2x YS mount arms for strobe and focus lights. Ball and joint arm systems are much stronger, adjustable and will stay in one position better than flex arms. The other handle has a mount for a focus light. You can expand this with extra arms and a triple clamp (#3013) for another strobe, with the focus light. An option below is to substitute 6" and 8" arms for the strobe.

The Sea & Sea YS27DX strobe is recommended for temperate waters or lower visibility. It has a guide number of 18 with a beam angle of 90 degrees. It has 8 steps of manual power and will sync with any point and shoot camera via the sync cord. Also included is the Fantasea NanoFocus light to allow you to see and frame easier, as well as your camera to focus faster. This is essential for the lower light situations underwater.

You can upgrade the focus light to the more powerful Big Blue 1x5AFO which also is more useful for night diving or in temperate waters.
